The flat is situated within a gated community, in what was once known as Vila Rosária – a village built to accommodate workers who came from the Portuguese countryside in search of new opportunities. The architecture and traditional features have been preserved, resulting in a genuinely Portuguese village with immense refinement.

You will certainly see, in front of the gated community, groups of people sitting and reminiscing about days gone by whilst playing cards.

This flat is on the first floor (accessible via stairs) and is a duplex comprising:

On the 1st floor:
A bedroom with a double bed, which also has a small balcony perfect for relaxing, 
a bathroom with a shower cubicle (hairdryer), 
a kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, oven, hob, washing machine, iron and dishwasher. There is also a living room with a Smart TV. 

On the second floor:
a large bedroom, with a reading area and another area with two single beds and a sofa bed. 

The whole flat is air-conditioned.

Within the estate, you have free access to a gym where you can burn off those calories after all those pastéis de nata.

Penha de França Viewpoint (5–7 mins’ walk) – One of the city’s quietest and least well-known viewpoints, offering panoramic views over Lisbon and the Tagus.

Penha de França Church – A historic church that gives its name to the neighbourhood.

Arroios Market (10-minute walk) – A traditional market selling fresh produce, ideal for those who enjoy cooking.

Fonte Luminosa / Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques (15-minute walk) – A green space with cafés, ideal for a stroll.

IMPORTANT:

The apartment is for the exclusive use of guests.

The apartment is located in a building with few residents.

Making noise that might disturb other neighbors after 11 PM is prohibited, as is disrespecting the building’s common areas.

There are two Lisbon guidebooks in the apartment for your use.

Early check-in or late check-out will be permitted whenever possible.

For stays longer than 7 days, I will provide a cleaning service that includes changing the bed linen and bath towels.

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need (towels, bed linen, shower gel, shampoo).

The sofa bed will only be set up for bookings of more than 4 guests. If you would like the sofa bed prepared, please request this at the time of booking.

A crib and a hight chair will only be set up if requested at the time of booking.

Access to the apartment is via stairs, and there is also a staircase inside the apartment to reach the upstairs bedroom.
