Domusoul was born from a life change.

With a degree in Social Work, the founder of Domusoul spent several years working with elderly people, in a deeply human and emotionally demanding profession. Then, seeking a new opportunity, she decided to invest in her first apartment and list it on Airbnb.

That’s when he discovered something unexpected.

She began receiving travelers from all over the world, full of enthusiasm, curiosity and a desire to get to know Portugal. While receiving them, she also rediscovered Lisbon — a city she had always loved for its light, beauty and very special personality.

The experience turned into a passion. The passion turned into a new path. That first apartment gave rise to DomuSoul.

What began with a single house has grown, first in Lisbon and then to other destinations, driven by a desire to explore new places and create unique experiences. Today, Domusoul is a team of 12 people who share the same vision: to create stays that are more than just a place to sleep—stays that become part of the experience of discovering Portugal.

Lisbon remains a very special part of our history and our main destination, but we believe that each place has its own soul. That’s why we are also present in other destinations and continue to grow with the same attention and care with which we began.
